CSU COVID-19 Header President's OfficeAugust 21, 2020

Happy Friday, everyone! Since COVID began, I have been sending out frequent, regular emails, and I will continue to do so this Fall—but I will not add to your inboxes next week unless I need to share urgent news or information. I hope all of you find time this weekend to relax. I also know that many of you will spend these next few days working. Please just know that I am deeply grateful to all of you for getting us successfully to the eve of our Fall 2020 semester. I hope you do take at least a little time this weekend to take care of yourself.

And please also take advantage of several new, timely COVID resources:

If you’re wondering what you need to know about the first week of classes, we’ve cleared our COVID website and put just the stuff you really need right at the top, with easy-to-reach, easy-to-read sections for students, classroom instructors, and employees. Go to the Covid Recovery website and find what you need now.

And for our entire CSU community, we know you have COVID questions. We do not have all the answers, because this is an incredibly fast-paced and uncertain time.  But we’re determined to give you all that we can, of our time, our energy, our support. So if you’ve got COVID questions that you can’t find answers to on our website or anywhere else, send them to COVID Answers and Guidance, an email address staffed by several dedicated CSU employees and students. They stand ready to help, whether that means directing you to information you couldn’t find, connecting you with a specific person or office, or just steering you in the right direction. And they will try to reply to all emails within one business day of receipt.

Our semester is starting, and our COVID response efforts continue, driven by the incredible energy and commitment of our faculty, staff, and students—in short, by all of you. Thank you!
